Wine Whisperers
Most of us have opinions on what we enjoy and what we don’t. These opinions are often formed exclusively from our own individual experience. In restaurants the wine choice can sometimes be very overwhelming.
We may only have tried wines we have come into contact with through socialising with friends, in restaurants or bars or at home.
This club is designed give an opportunity to experience different wines and, over time, become more knowledgeable about why we like what we like.
Our Friendly Club
A friendly club giving us all the opportunity to broaden and deepen our knowledge and appreciation of the wider world of wine.
An environment where you can meet people with a similar interest and to learn more without any snobbery allowed.
Member run with opportunity for members to take turns running a monthly session choosing a theme and associated wines.
An opportunity to experience wines at different price points and based around a theme such as grape variety, a geography or a style.
Membership
For meetings there is a cost of £10 pp. Until May we are running this on a month by month basis. From June we will be looking for a commitment for the next 6 months which will enable us to plan the wine budget more accurately. Cost are kept to a minimum and money only goes towards the hall hire and the wine budget.
